Australian indie-pop quartet Pirra make their debut on UK label BLK&WHT with a fine new single release “Under The Skyline” co-produced by Roy Kerr (London Grammar & Aurora) at RAK studios; mastered by Greg Calbi (Tame Impala & MGMT).

The Pirra sound is a unique genre-bending blend of slinky electro, new wave and dance mixed with indie pop rock stylings. Their lyrics combine cutting and funny observations of life and love in today’s world. Pirra combines live instrumentation with washes of synthesised and programmed sounds, creating a rich and seductive blend of modern pop.

“Under the Skyline” is a euphoric bliss that captures the freedom of the grand open landscapes and beautiful nature of Australia. A simple enough concept yet it’s something we constantly yearn for – the idea of completely letting go and being born anew. Not just a resolution as we change the calendar, “Under the Skyline” is a message to wake up to every day:

“Move through beyond a feeling, never to weary.”
